Review — Driftline Rally, solid on the road, thin on content
Driftline Rally gets the essential right: you feel the surface under the wheels. The rest keeps up less well.
The handling model clearly separates gravel, tarmac and snow, including on a controller.
The career mode, by contrast, recycles the same stages with different weather.
Strengths
- Convincing driving feel
- Excellent audio readability
Weaknesses
- Repetitive career
- Few original stages
Recommended for the driving, less so for longevity. A good buy on sale.
